Excellent quality oil painting paper
This notebook is great! It's thick and has the texture of a canvas without warping, creasing or running - even when using mixed media like linseed oil. Paper doesn't need to be plastered either. I bought this mat as I am new to oil painting and don't want to constantly waste canvases while trying to learn and experiment. This carpet is much cheaper and more compact. I even use a paper cutter to create smaller sheets! The paper fits well in the frame. Highly recommended, you can't go wrong with Strathmore.
