I wrote a 3 star review 2 days ago based on MY OWN MISTAKE so I'm setting the record now. The missing teflon tape ended up in my trash can (although I thought they didn't put it in). Water pressure: excellent. This is much better than my old but much more expensive shower head. Lots of customization options. There are high pressure settings as well as more rain-like options. There's even a setting that lets you create almost a steam shower. Serious. You can adjust this shower head to produce an ultra-fine mist that almost makes your shower feel like a steam sauna. Cool! I live in Arizona which is known to have the hardest water in the United States. In Arizona we have limescale and limescale deposits galore, so great that everything from dishes to shower doors has a white coating. It accumulates everywhere, even in your hair. Indeed, with this filter, hair and skin become a little softer and healthier. I will never take a shower without a filter again. In fact, I know what to get friends and family for Christmas in 6 months. Everyone in Arizona needs this shower head. I've never used a shower head with a filter, so I can't compare it to other shower filters. All I can say is that this shower filter makes a difference. Speaking of "complaints": As is usual with many products, the instructions could be a little clearer. I don't know how to install a water saving throttle. Small water relief valves are not used in this rating. Even without the use of valves, there are some settings that limit water flow. This allows you to manually select the desired water flow. As per other reviews, it is plastic with chrome trim. I can't say how long the "chrome" finish will last. Even if the chrome plating will soon disappear, it's still a good buy in terms of functionality and features. I will buy it again if the filter needs to be replaced.
