Use this with my Solvit ramp which I also bought. At first it looks like you're about to break the piece of plastic attached to the edge of the metal ramp, but once you get the hang of it everything works great. However, only the left side is interested, where the door is. It would be nice if this clip/strap kit included something for the right side where the backrest is for those of us who need to install a ramp to the seat and not just the floor. My dog can't jump at all so I have to push myself against the ramp all the way to the back seat. I had to use a small bungee cord wrapped around the rear seat pivot and strapped to the ramp on the right hand side to keep the ramp from sliding in any direction at all. When both sides are protected, the ramp is very stable.
