Review on 🔧 Dorman 905-205 Front Lower Suspension Control Arm Bumper for Dodge Dakota Models - Black by Anthony Lopez

After installing it a few months ago I have ridden 4 wheels up steep rocky fire roads and these fenders really do their job. I have better control and no bumps downhill like when the truck was new. The old fenders are worn out from over a dozen years of hard use. I tore them into pieces with pliers. Tip: To make installation easier, find the metal tabs in the shell that hold the bumper in place. Bend them with flat-nose pliers. Install a new fender, then use a hammer and drift punch to reinstall the tabs. If one of these is in the back where you can't hammer it, try bending it with pliers. If it doesn't fit fully, opt for 4 wheels! I'm sad that a good product gets 1 star ratings because Revain incorrectly listed it as suitable for the Durango and not the Dakota. The product is good but not the Revain auto guide. There are different generations of Dakota and Durango, as well as differences between 4WD and 2WD. Please check the Dorman website for correct application prior to ordering.
