2003 DODGE DAKOTA Best Bumpers

Perfect for my 2003 Dodge Dakota. Must fit 1997-2004 Dakota. I don't think it fits the Durango. FOR DODGE DAKOTA 905-205DODGE DURANGO'S 905-204

Pros
  • Decent Performance
Cons
  • Weight

Great replacement for installation

Don't lie, this is a test of your will. Replaced them with a '04 Dakota, very difficult to install. Old school driveway and jack 1/2. I ended up adjusting the pressure and then using the weight of the truck to land while the jack was lowered.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Vulgarity

good replacement for the stock bumper

fits perfectly. Since it was a bit difficult to get in, I smeared them with lube and then used a big ol' C-clip to crush them. It would only be better if they supplied a lubricant that is guaranteed not to cause them any damage. .

  • good thing
Cons

Fits easily in my Dodge Dakota 4 seater cab

Fits easily in my Dodge Dakota 4 seater cab. My original bumper was completely destroyed on both sides. I simply cleaned the insert area, added some silicone to the edge of the bumper insert and it was easy to install. Excellent price, excellent quality, fast delivery, all the advantages of ordering online, I will order again if necessary.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • No

fits Dakota '98: Levers and parts

Fits my '98 Dakota, good replacement. Use a THICK flathead screwdriver to gently press it into place. Raise the truck with Jack to lower the suspension for a seat. Place the parts in 2 of the 3 metal tabs in the cup. Gently press the metal tab next to the third cup to snap the pudh into place. I was able to install this without banging a house in the bumper. I recommend this product.

Perfect Fit For Dodge Dqakota SLT 2003 4WD

Ideal for 2003 Dodge Dqakota SLT 4WD. He pulled out the old one, smeared some grease into the lever bushing, and clamped the new fenders in place. Used a screwdriver to push into the socket. They're meant for Durangos, but for Dakotas. Use the Dorman.com website to find your vehicle model and ensure a perfect fit.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Intervals

Don't expect them to fit well on a 2004 Dakota

If you watch videos on youtube you will think they run out very quickly. Well, maybe for the Durango, but not the Dakota, forget the fact that everything is at an angle and you're in tight spaces. They just don't have lateral flexibility. almost four hours later. I managed to get some kind (passenger side) but the driver side was a mistake. The video on YouTube showed two different part numbers, so maybe that was the problem. All I know is that they didn't fit me.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • There are downsides

Great product, read manufacturer's instructions before ordering.

After installing it a few months ago I have ridden 4 wheels up steep rocky fire roads and these fenders really do their job. I have better control and no bumps downhill like when the truck was new. The old fenders are worn out from over a dozen years of hard use. I tore them into pieces with pliers. Tip: To make installation easier, find the metal tabs in the shell that hold the bumper in place. Bend them with flat-nose pliers. Install a new fender, then use a hammer and drift punch to…
