Would I wish I could afford better equipment than this? Yes of course. But for what it is, it deserves 5 stars. What I really like is that it comes with stand and axle. Although my bike had a quick release lever, the shape of the lever would not suit this machine. I really wish there was a way to get the same rear tire pressure every time (since I reset it after use so I don't damage the tire or tube). I could count the turns on the crank as I tightened it, but I'd like something more specific. You may have to wait for a future upgrade to a more powerful device. now it's good. It folds very compactly (easy to store and carry). Ultra light setup. By using the gears on my bike I can train well. When riding on the road, you can stop pedaling and rest while the bike coasts. Once your legs stop moving, the wheel will stop too, forcing you to work harder than you would on the street. Don't get me wrong, road riding is preferable in many ways because it requires balance and unlike the trainer, you can change terrain. However, for a long winter it will come in handy. I use it early in the morning with a mostly slick rear tire and haven't received any noise complaints from neighbors yet. Although a slick tire would be better.
