The product was securely packaged and arrived 1 day early. My only concern is that there was a small 1/4 inch defect or scratch on the curved surface of one of the lamps that should have been noticed and rejected during quality inspection. I'm not sure what such a small scratch means or if it would affect the longevity and safety of the lamp but I would advise the seller to simply inspect each product prior to shipment as I have never seen similar imperfections on any major brand lights have seen. Both bulbs worked perfectly and the replacement with older bulbs that had been in use for over 47 years took less than a minute. One of those old lamps still worked, but I replaced it too. want to take the time and effort to return and exchange this product because of this small defect and hope it will not shorten lamp life or pose a safety hazard.
