Part perfectly fits 2006 Mazda 6 3.0 6 Cylinder. My oil lamp flickered. The problem has been fixed, good thing it wasn't the oil pump. The spot above the air conditioning compressor to the left of the oil filter was difficult to reach, see photo. Both this new and old sensor require a 21mm deep socket. The job can be done without removing the air conditioning compressor, as many YouTube videos suggest. You may need an uninstall and install wizard. One person helps from above and one from below with a deep head and ratchet. Pay attention to the angle of the socket, otherwise you can interrupt the electrical connection. You can hand screw the new one in about 1/4 inch before you need the nut and ratchet. I've used car ramps, but jacks/stands may work just fine.
