Review on The Dare Cribbing Collar: A Professional's Choice for Effective Cribbing Control by Angelia Marler

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I don't know why I waited so long!

I am a new owner of an OTTB horse. He was chewing and sucking 24 hours a day, 7 days a week when I got him. He was having a hard time maintaining his weight and was very nervous. I was concerned about putting a collar on him, thinking it was a "torture tool" and would change his personality. For this reason I was also kicked out of 2 barns. Finally, at the urging of the 3rd barn, I was forced to buy a collar. I read a lot of reviews, some were great and others said it didn't work at all or didn't work for long. I can tell you this collar worked from the second I put it on him. Also, it didn't wriggle or try to free itself when I closed it. He never once touched the board in his enclosure or the door of his stable! He wore it long enough to realize it really was a good choice for him. He has calmed down, gained weight and is now one of the favorites in the stable. I'm assuming it's a wart to worry about for no reason. He's thriving!
