Do not use as a stand
They are quite thin and the big ones break easily. When I used one of these as a trivet, the table was scalded beyond repair and the cork left residue. (The table is probably the nicest piece of furniture I own, and the family loom. Not a very good one.) I wouldn't risk putting it on my table, but as coasters they're probably good, but no more.
