Highly recommend them. Our grandson wears a size 8 toddler shoes, I ordered a size down (6-7 for toddlers) because I wanted a snug fit like a sock so he could wear them getting in and out of the pool. His little fingers went straight to the end of the insole, which was EXACTLY what I wanted. Other shoes his size left gaps that made swimming difficult and retained water as he climbed out of the pool. The concrete around our pool gets very hot in direct sunlight and it's just under 2 years old so doesn't realize it has to climb a towel or shaded concrete. He just dances a little and starts to cry! He loves these shoes and they work great!
