Review on GRODIA Sensor Food Grade Flowmeter Counter by Christian Young

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works fine for my application.

First of all, you need to know that the output is NPN (Current Collector). This means that it gives you negative impulses. Works well with click PLCs with high speed counter input. I can't vouch for the accuracy because I only needed to determine the flow. It detects a fairly low flow. The thread fits well on NPT PEX brass fittings with plenty of thread tape. It's cheap and does the job.

Pros
  • Operating voltage: 5-24 VDC current, F=(0.5*Q)±2%, Q=L/min
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared
