Good portable smoker

If you're looking for a portable smoker, I like this one. Temperature control waivers, but well within tolerance to smoke food really well. I've used it on chicken, ribs, and butt. It's all come out fantastic.I like the size and plan to take it RVing this summer. Some design things I found missing or lacking:1. It weighs some 50 pounds. 20 years ago, i could do that with a pinky finger. Today? Let's say my back doesn't appreciate holding it awkwardly by the bottom. Please, put some collapsible handles on this thing.2. The meat probe works like a charm. I wish it had a dedicated slot in the rim or grommet to run the cord out to the jack. The smoker seals up so well, then I have to put a cord through it. I've been running the meat probe in through the back smoke slots. Meh.3. 4# of pellets is not enough. Filling it every once in a while is no big deal, but imagine if you provided an optional transparent tube that'd hold another 4-6 pounds that mounted on the side of the hopper, outside the unit? Then, at a glance, I could see how many pellets are in there and I'd have to refill less.4. The ash pan design is great. The ash pan function is not so much. It still blows everywhere. Fix that, please.5. The priming button works the auger, which is good. But it's soooooooo slllllooooooooowwwwww. I mostly don't bother, and let it do it's thing, because I'm unwilling to stand there, hold the button, and wait.If you're considering a purchase, I'd do it. These are engineer rantings. I just can't help myself. This is a solid machine. If someone stole it, I'd immediately buy another.
