So far, so good. This is a small pellet smoker

It is important to keep in perspective what this smoker is. It is a small, portable pellet grill/smoker that requires a 110 power source. It is what it is, and for what it is, it is a great value. I received my Asmoke 300 this week and have used it twice, with great results. No, you cannot cram 4 packer briskets into this smoker. No, you cannot cook 12 whole chickens at one time. For massive cooks for dozens of people, this one may not be for you. However, for an affordable small pellet grill it

Pros
  • Home Décor Products
Cons
  • Longer preheat time compared to other grills/smokers

One For The Road: my feedback

I bought the Asmoke for RVing. I have a large Pit Boss at home so I enjoy pellet grilling. Also some campsites have a ‘no open flame’ rule so this seems to fit every occasion. For the maiden voyage I chose a small brisket. I had to check the temperature periodically because it seemed to drift up and down some. I now believe this was due to wind. Future smokes will tell. The Asmoke provided good smoke at the low temps and the aroma of the wood is fantastic! I tried a formula I use on the Pit…

Pros
  • The navy blue color is perfect for those who love to entertain in style
Cons
  • Difficult to add additional wood pellets during cooking without removing food

Great compact smoker/grill

This is my first pellet smoker/grill. I must say, that having digital temperature control, really takes the guess work out of grilling. This is so much easier than getting the charcoal grill started, and the smoke flavor on steaks is amazing. Smoking chicken thighs is my favorite meat for the grill. The company has great product support also. I had an issue with the display on mine, fogging up from too much smoke, and when I contacted the company on how to clean the display from the inside of…

Pros
  • Home & Kitchen
Cons
  • Pellet feed system can be unreliable and require frequent maintenance

Smoking Good Eats! in my review

Having seen my Brother in law using this smoker for some time, I decided to get one for myself, boy am I happy! I love to camp, and to have things that do not take up a lot of space is ideal for me, so this will see a few trips when I’m at a campsite with power. I have used this a few times now and I’m so far very please with the results. I started out with sausage, it’s cheap, easy to find at most markets and butcher shops, so there began my smoke trials. Three hours or so later, I had very…

Pros
  • Only issue is the cover ... not good had for 9 months and it has faded fast and now easily torn
Cons
  • Requires a power source for the superheated steam technology to work

Nice unit, but terrible temp control.

I had high hopes for this unit. Seemed well built, nice for my RV. But the temp control was horrible. Got it warmed up, set the temp at 200, and for the next 6 hours the temps ran up to as high as 450+ and then back down to below 200*. Then back up, back down, back up, etc., etc. Sent it back as I was unable to get any support on fixing it.

Pros
  • Carrying handles make it easy to take this grill on the go
Cons
  • No built-in temperature gauge, making it difficult to monitor cooking temperatures

good smoker, shit everything else.

I have a few problems with this product.1) it absolutely sucks at anything other than smoking.2) the temp controls are garbage and have inconsistent increments. 200, 225,250, 300?No 275? I guess it doesn’t matter anyway because the temp controls will not hold temp with any accuracy. I was making a brisket the other day, set temp to 225F. I come back an hour later to check on it and the temp had climbed to over 300! It came back down after a bit but it freaked me out a bit. The brisket did turn…

Pros
  • The grill is easy to assemble, with clear instructions included
Cons
  • Limited airflow and ventilation compared to other grills/smokers

I absolutely love my smoker and use it all the time. I've made some of the best steaks of my life by smoking them for an hour and they come out perfectly. I bought the carrying bag with it for an extra $40 and it ripped the second time using it, because it fit so tightly around the smoker. Asmoke if you read these then make the bag a little bigger, so the smoker actually fits into it.

Pros
  • A built-in ash collector makes it easy to dispose of leftover ashes
Cons
  • Short power cord that limits where it can be used

Great portable grill

This portable grill did an excellent job of cooking food on our camping trip. If it could keep a stable temperature or a decent range of temps, I'd have been thrilled. It seems to range from +100 degrees at times. 180-degree smoke could easily range up to 280. I'll be in the forums when I return to see if I can fix that. The food that was cooked or "smoked" on it tasted fabulous. I wouldn't do any unattended low and slow, considering the temp fluctuations.EditThe problem with the temp…

Pros
  • The AS350 can run on 110 - 120V AC, easily within the parameters of a portable bank, RV outlet, and wall socket; Perfect cooking companion whether you're in the backyard or on the tailgate
Cons
  • Relatively heavy compared to other portable grills/smokers

Smoker for 2 - my new review

What i like. Perfect size for two people. Can cook 2lbs of beef jerky with extra rack. I cooked a 4 lb chicken with no problem. Temp fluctuates a little but dont find it to be a problem. Cooks hamburgers really well. Its great for camping and at home use. What i dont like. Customer service is abosoluty horrible. When u call the numbers its like ir on hold immediately. Emailing back and forth is awful. Way too time consuming. Good luck getting parts.

Pros
  • This grill is perfect for outdoor entertaining, no matter the season
Cons
  • Assembly can be complicated and time-consuming

Great for the price

Check the updates at the bottom. It worked great until it didn't, then it caught on fire. For the price this thing is pretty great. Operation is easy, setup instructions are clear, and after initial burn off I was up and running quickly. I noticed some temperature fluctuations but I put up something to block the wind and it was fine. I noticed a 10-15 degree rise while the hopper was running but it settled back down quickly enough. So far I've done smoked salsa, smoked cream cheese, and smoked…

Pros
  • The grill comes with a warranty for added peace of mind
Cons
  • Not suitable for high-heat grilling

temperature out of control

First use with ribs was excellent, though temp range was 30-40 degrees instead of 10. I am now doing chicken thighs and the temperature is out of control. Preheat at 225 and it goes to 300, then down to 166, then up to over 450. Opened the cover and it goes down to 174 ,then back up over 400 and i turned it off and set to 180. After it went back over 400, i try to control temp by turning the unit on and off. If this is not resolved, i need to return or replace it.

Pros
  • With this grill, you can create restaurant-quality meals from the comfort of your own backyard
Cons
  • Pellet feed system can jam and require manual intervention

Good value for the price

I normally smoke on a full-size, expensive, Green Mountain pellet grill. I purchased the Asmoke to use as a portable grill for our RV. I have used it one time since receiving it last week and it has exceeded my expectations. The only downside is that the appears to be slightly inaccurate. Although the minute-to-minute temperature control is acceptable, the cooking chamber runs 5-10 degrees higher than the dial setting. The error is easy to mentally adjust for, if it is consistent. All-in-all, I

Pros
  • At 256 sq in, this is the perfect size for small outdoor spaces
Cons
  • Can be noisy during operation due to the steam system

Review of Asmoke AS300

I like that is easy to move around and take on trips. Operation is straight forward. Just turn the dial to heat setting. It runs hotter than the setting you choose. At the smoke setting it is supposed to run at 180 degrees and it consistently runs in the 250-300 range. It does give a good smoke taste to food. Have ran several types of pellets and it uses all with the same results.I have a larger smoker that require more room on grill but for smaller cooks it works good. I would sure like it…

Pros
  • The grill is built to last, with durable materials and construction
Cons
  • Requires frequent cleaning and maintenance to ensure optimal performance

Good but not great best in my review

I love this little grill and would recommend it, but it's not perfect. We have had some problems with the pellets getting wet even when it's closed and covered. Clearly the cover is rain resistant but not rain proof. The design is a little tricky to open for searing. But over all this is an excellent size and style of grill at a great price. I will never go back to propane.

Pros
  • The grill is lightweight and easy to move around
Cons
  • Meat can become overly moist or soggy due to steam system

Good portable smoker

If you're looking for a portable smoker, I like this one. Temperature control waivers, but well within tolerance to smoke food really well. I've used it on chicken, ribs, and butt. It's all come out fantastic.I like the size and plan to take it RVing this summer. Some design things I found missing or lacking:1. It weighs some 50 pounds. 20 years ago, i could do that with a pinky finger. Today? Let's say my back doesn't appreciate holding it awkwardly by the bottom. Please, put some collapsible…

Pros
  • Portable Wood Pellet Grill - Compact body yet 256 square inches of grilling space, built from stainless steel with a porcelain non-stick coating; Easy to carry and maintain
Cons
  • Limited color options (only available in navy blue

Cool little pellet grill, inaccurate controller.

The controller doesn’t work well. 4th of July I had it set on smoke and upon checking on it noticed the temp was at 350, and proceeded to climb all the way to 500. I set it to 225 and that helped, but still remained at 300.

Pros
  • Cook Without Limits - 180° to 500°F temperature range and direct heatable offers true 8-in-1 versatility for grill, smoke, bake, roast, sear, braise, barbecue, and char-grill
Cons
  • Inconsistent heat distribution that can lead to uneven cooking

This is a great portable grill and smoker

This grill is easy to use and the food it makes is very delicious and has a nice smokey flavor. The temperature stays consistent and is very easy to control, and the thermometer that’s included is accurate. Having the choice of smoking or grilling with one device that is so user-friendly and portable is a game changer!

Pros
  • Food comes out very moist and smoked.
Cons
  • Small cooking surface compared to other grills/smokers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well built for my opinion

I bought this for our rv trips. I have used it camping and at home. It is really the perfect smoker. If you are cooking for 10 peopleOr less it’s the perfect size it easily fit two tri tips or two chuck roasts.Well built and really easy to use.My only complaint is the temp control can sometimes raise the temp or lower the temp by 50° in either direction which I know and understand it’s wood pellets not an electric oven but still the cooking temps are a little tough to get constant.

Pros
  • You can use this grill year-round, thanks to its durable construction
Cons
  • Limited cooking options compared to other 8-in-1 grills/smokers

Junk Conroller - my new review

Had it 6 months now and first 2 uses were good. Now the controller can't hold the temp. I'm trying to cook ribs at 200 degrees! Just look at the pics. Tried to contact asmoke, but of course they have no phone #. I should have known.never deal with anyone that you cannot talk to!

Pros
  • A built-in meat thermometer ensures your food is cooked to perfection
Cons
  • Requires specific wood pellets that may not be available in all areas

Bomb of a grill good for me

Love this grill. Easy to use, very portable, great value for the money, have used it camping. Smoked tri tip, steaks, chicken, brisket, hot dogs, sausage, used the grill function for some of these because it's so versatile.

Pros
  • The compact size of the ASMOKE AS350 makes it easy to store in a small outdoor space
Cons
  • Not suitable for cold weather cooking due to the steam system
