Review on Lavanila 2 Pack - The Healthy Deodorant Set: Aluminum-Free, Vegan, Clean, Natural, Pure Vanilla, Vanilla Lavender (2 x 2 oz Deodorants) by Stephen Tharpe

I love Lavanila's natural deodorants. I've had an interest in natural deodorants for a long time, but until recently I never felt it was time to try them. I spend most of my time at home now, so I figured I could go without an antiperspirant for a while, so it's now or never. These deodorants are easy and smooth to apply and leave no residue. In general, the flavors are pleasant and unobtrusive. So far I've tried Grapefruit Vanilla (a favourite) and Lemon Vanilla (good but not a favourite) and now with this new double pack of Pure Vanilla and Lavender Vanilla. Both of these new fragrances are beautiful, with pure vanilla seeming to be the strongest. The smell seems to linger for several hours before I stop noticing it, but I don't think it's strong enough to bother others (at least nobody in the family has mentioned it - and believe me, they will). Most importantly, deodorants seem to actually work, at least for me, although I'm not sure it will in the summer heat. It's early spring now, so it's still cold enough that I wear a sweater most of the time when I'm home, so I probably don't sweat much. However, a lot must depend on body chemistry as they definitely don't work for everyone. My teenage granddaughter doesn't find them effective; She tried grapefruit-vanilla for a week and lemon-vanilla for a few days (she didn't like the latter at all). She didn't think they were doing anything to minimize sweat or odor. These natural deodorants are a little pricey, but I like being able to go without aluminum-based products for at least a while, and as the person they seem to be effective for, I think they're worth the money. They are packaged nicely and the amount of product is great and it lasts quite a long time (I apply it twice a day).
