This bowl is incredibly large, the length of my forearm. John Farber created the OXO brand to help his arthritis-stricken wife make time in the kitchen easier, and no one with arthritis can use it. They are so clumsy and they are also too big to be very effective for cooking. I'm also worried about the actual material of the utensils. I used a shallow bowl to shred the ground beef for the tacos and when I washed it the sides split, although I didn't soak them in water, use harsh abrasive cleaners, and didn't clean them at all. Poor quality, had to throw it away. I think they would be great for decorating the landscape, a giant slotted spoon would look perfect next to a giant fake pot of simmering stew.
