🔪 Enhanced OXO Good Grips Wooden Utensil Trio Review

I am a delighted OXO Good Grips customer and to date have always been very satisfied with my purchase. However, I am not enthusiastic about these wooden spoons. The handles are so thick that they're a bit unwieldy to use and I didn't even think this could be a problem. Also, the wood in the slots of the slotted spoon and the rims of all three spoons was flaking off the spoon like thin soft splinters. I would not recommend them.

I usually have good luck with OXO products, but this set of wooden utensils isn't one of my favorites. Immediately after packaging, this dish was very, very rough and dry - quite uncomfortable to hold in your hands. Almost as if the last step in the manufacturing process had been skipped. As for the design, the grips are quite wide - it took a little getting used to. This bowl is incredibly large, the length of my forearm. John Farber created the OXO brand to help his arthritis-stricken wife make time in the kitchen easier, and no one with arthritis can use it. This is a great standard cookware. This would be great for those who are just starting out, or those who have lost half of their kitchen appliances, or if you are just replacing or adding to them.
