This is the nicest kit, it matches the silver color of my existing dashboard perfectly and gives it a real factory look once installed. It does require some trimming of the existing radio hole, but there's nothing a small Dremel tool (with a cut-off wheel) can't do. I'm sure you could use the file, but of course that would take longer and require a bit more work on yourself. It is extremely secure even after installation. I'm glad I sent back the black one I bought before I found this one. I don't do many reviews as most things are generic but this needed to be heard. Like most people, I read reviews and buy things based on them, so I assure you it's worth the money because it made my radio perfect!
