I give this shampoo and conditioner set 5 stars. The default value is 5 because I really like the end results. This set smells nice, if not quite as grapefruity as I would have liked. Yes, I really love grapefruit and all the good things it does for my body, whether I eat it or use it topically. I wasn't thrilled with how it felt during my first wash, but I eventually got used to it. During my first wash, when I first started using it, I found I had to add more shampoo for it to do anything. It wasn't too bad for the second cycle because I didn't need much. On back-to-back washes I found this helped, I simply added water and massaged my hair. Sometimes I still needed a little more, even though I have thin hair. Felt great while using. What I really liked about this set is that I really liked how my hair looked afterwards. Also, it lasts a few days longer than many other shampoos and conditioners that tend to leave my hair flat and greasy. It doesn't dry out the hair at all. That was excellent. Exactly what I expect from a shampoo and conditioner. I have no idea why they say it's for curly hair. I have a straight bone and it's great for my hair. I'm not sure about the hair loss help it provides. I'm still losing it, but nothing has stopped it so far. I am happy with how it takes care of the remaining hair and keeps it strong and healthy while looking and feeling great.
