I've only used one of these to be honest, but it was with a wine I really love and I feel like it might change the taste of the wine a bit . . I will continue to use them and do some taste testing to see if they affect the taste. (I have both Ullo and The Wand -- my favorite at the moment -- and I haven't noticed any change in the taste of the wines from the other two.) I like the range of things this filter handles, so I'm hoping I'll I'm wrong on the taste factor. Also, I think they should make them like a tea bag, with string and a tag to pull it out of the jar after five minutes. Seems a bit sticky just to kind of fish it out.
