A friend recommended them to me. They are tall and casually elegant. They are pure linen, so they actually act like wipes and absorb liquids, unlike polyester wipes which are used as a wipe like a plastic bag. I have a steamer and expected them to crumple out of the dryer as they are pure linen. Not so. They came out of the dryer wrinkle-free and ready to fold. Because they are absorbent, they stain. Therefore, treat them immediately after use and before washing stains. (A useless polyester cloth will not stain.)
