This is my second purchase (repurchase) of this product for another Lorex DVR. LHV2000 series. My first purchase was in August 2018 for my client. I just tested their DVR (November 2019) and it's still working! It has been a year, two months or more since I repaired your dash cam with this product. Because of this result, this purchase is for my personal Lorex DVR. Fingers crossed I have the same success! After reading other reviews I am concerned about the durability. I think cleanliness is a factor so I'll clean vents and dust. One review that interests me, the reviewer speaks of a better quality fan (double bearing) that he is using. I will study it. In summary I am happy with this purchase that I bought it again and it has worked for me so far. I wish you success! (My first review in August 2018) – This is a PCB replacement fan for Lorex LHV2000 series DVR PCB. Very easy to replace. My Lorex security camera kept restarting. Lorex support did not diagnose this. It was overheating. When I opened the case, I noticed that there were traces of dust on the fan and it was not spinning. I spun it with my finger and the fan started spinning again. Decided to replace the fan. Start by turning off the fan. Unscrew the circuit board from the case. Turn the circuit board over and press the contacts together with pliers and push them out (from behind). Install the new fan using the same holes and insert the pins into the holes. Reattach the circuit board to the case. Connect the fan. close the case Did!
