For years I've been trying to find the perfect car mount for my cell phone. I've had one that damaged my air vents, I've had one that only lasted a month, I've had one that left ugly glue on my dash and my last one worked fine until one day it stopped closing on the car. and fell under the weight of my phone. That brings me to this mountain. I really liked how it is connected to the ventilation. It was very easy to hook up and is solid and secure but I don't think it will damage the vent. I love the release button and the fact that I only have to crimp the ends to fit around my phone. The only thing I'm missing from my latest mount is the ability to access the fingerprint lock on the back of the phone when mounted. The back of this mount goes up so I have to unlock the phone from the front which isn't really a problem but I'm used to using the fingerprint on the back. However, I would recommend this cell phone car mount to anyone looking for it.
