You sent a defective belt. Which really sucks because installing it on a 2006 Duramax isn't much fun. After installing this belt it went over my pulleys. Most noticeable on my upper idler pulley (which was brand new). I thought the pulley was defective so I replaced it with the original pulley to no avail. The tape keeps moving. I went to AutoZone and picked up a regular brand name belt. Built in (which isn't that much fun for this motor year) and don't you know. Pulleys work great and are a lot cheaper to check. With the same guarantee!
