When I took this clasp out of the box, I immediately noticed that the upper, smaller part of the clasp (which attaches to the lid of the box you attach it to) was deformed: the left one The end next to the screw hole was bent out. The lower large part of the clasp was also twisted. So I figured since it's metal(?) you might want to straighten it out carefully and smooth the top part of the clasp slightly. But as soon as I applied some pressure, it cracked like plastic. I didn't straighten the bottom part of the clasp because I figured it was about to fall out. So come back Of course, I'm not a strong man (nearly 70!), and I've tried to remodel it carefully. I was surprised that the material it's made of isn't flexible metal!
