I chose this model for a number of reasons: 1. Extends over 6 inches like other models I've found . I needed something that would enlarge my laptop screen to line up with my armrest desktop monitors and this one goes up high enough. 2. Has triangular supports which I believe will be stronger than just two levers compared to other two lever models that use friction for support 3. Flexible design that folds completely flat Build Quality: Good assembly quality, but could be better The grooves are soft rubber and I'm not sure how it will wear out over time, but if it's still 95% of the time it should work fine. The side arms (2 for the base and 2 for the laptop table) move independently and may take some time to align in the correct groove. I recommend aligning the forearms first and then the upper arms. One suggestion could be a crossbar that connects to the arms on each side so it would be easier to set up. Instead of rubber notches holding hands in place, they could have notches cut directly from the metal base.
