Review on 🔴 Robinair (15500) VacuMaster Economy Vacuum Pump - 2-Stage, 5 CFM, Red: High-Performance and Affordable Solution by David Grajales

Although this pump is made in China, it is an excellent pump. That's why it's called Robinson. Follow the directions and follow the proper warm-up/break-in procedure and it will run just fine. I can smell the oil from above but the oil vapor as some say does not come out. The only problem I see is that the manual says "Remove and discard the outlet plug from the outlet fitting". Mine didn't have a plug in the exhaust filter, but a layman can read that, remove the whole exhaust filter and throw it all away. It could happen. If they did, they would surely pump out oil fumes. Anyway, this little guy got down to 20 microns pretty quickly with just a vacuum hose attached to my micron. Perfect. It won't hold the vacuum, but that's what my Appion corer is designed for. To disconnect the system from the pump before I turn it off.
