Review on πŸ”© Enhanced Efficiency: Drilling Drywall Anchors with Phillip Screws by Daniel Steele

better than plastic; Poor compared to other metal dowels

These dowels are good compared to plastic dowels but rubbish compared to other metal dowels. The metal tip broke off in the wall of the first one I used, causing the now-broken anchor to enter the wall at the wrong angle. Do yourself a favor and visit the Home Depot website and look for one of the following numbers: Model # 25316; Internet no. 100391938; Shop ID 612712. The anchors on the HD site are the same "style" but instead of that darn flat point on the front breaking, it's just a continuation of the spiral on the back and won't break. (The HD site is also good if you're looking for something online.)

Pros
  • Fasteners
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
