I bought the 8TB 3.5" kit and it included the PSU. The clone tool on the USB stick works as expected and described. The Barracuda hard drive did not initialize as expected from a new drive. Using the included SATA/USB 3 port required some caution. This is an unreliable device. The connector is not securely attached to the hard drive and the power adapter is not fully seated in the connector. However, if you carefully connect the connector to the hard drive and then connect the power adapter to the connector, it works as expected. I was able to access the disk for initialization, cloning, etc. This is a reliable and inexpensive tool that works as expected if used carefully.
