This is a good product for the money.
We connected it to the audio system in our house so the sound quality is very good. We didn't use the remote for this, but the volume will be as loud as your speakers will allow. We have a surround speaker setup. It works great with our system, we have a remote control for our sound system. And we have no problem connecting with it.
