Review on 🌧️ SITKA Gear Women's Downpour Jacket Optifade: The Ultimate Rain companion by Jennifer Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The sleeves are nice and long enough, enough room to move without adding weight.

I was afraid that I, a short woman with broad shoulders and long arms, would not have enough sleeves. You are not! There's plenty of room to move around and put on a down vest, but the jacket is by no means bulky or baggy. I wore this during the torrential downpour that hit PNW and by the end of the day I was dry. I love that this material is quiet and durable, perfect for the forest where I live. Nobody will hear me. Can't help but mention the extension on the sleeve which covers the arms and it gets very cold and wet. They don't have thumb holes which is very handy as they wear out and like other jackets have to be tucked into the sleeves to get the moisture back up the sleeve. Not this jacket! You simply attach it back to the outside of the case with a magnetic snap and keep the water inside the case. This will also prevent water from entering the wrist of your gloves. The seller is a fast shipper. This is a must.

Pros
  • Expandable image. The articulated pattern offers a comfortable riding position, while the extended seat ensures water is drained from the back.
Cons
  • Without insurance
