Nice twist on 3x3 cube

I saw this stickerless 3x3 twist cube and thought it looked like a great twist on the traditional 3x3 puzzle cube. Arrived in a very modest package in one day. I've solved this a few times and enjoy the extra task of aligning the parts. It is solved in the same way as a traditional 3x3, but the first solution may take a little longer. With my third solution, I encountered a parity error when one of the middle cubes is upside down. I think that only makes things more difficult. The cube isn't as solid as many of my other cubes and I attribute this to a twist in the design. It doesn't bother me because I'm careful when turning. If it isn't untied, I doubt it will survive a fall onto a hard floor. There are too many corners where bumps can cause breakage. I wouldn't call it a speed cube since you need to make sure you line up the pieces exactly before rotating them. It won't fall apart if it rotates out of alignment, but I can see how a hard twist without proper alignment can turn it into a handful of pieces. It's also a little tricky because your fingers are looking for support on a flat surface, and the rotation adds another dimension to the tactile surface, resulting in some displacement. It just takes a little adjustment to make up the difference. I'm still giving this cube 5 stars because while it's more fragile than the typical no-sticker speed cube, it's well made and as long as you don't drop or twist it. Alignment serves as a fun challenge for your puzzle cube collection or makes a nice interesting gift.
