This is a great little router/access point for the price and what I needed. My main WiFi hotspot at home is an old EnGenius EAP 1200 hotspot that covers our two-story network for most devices. But lately we've gotten a bunch of 'smart' devices like cameras, a garage door opener, a robot vacuum cleaner, smart switches, etc., and some of them have pretty pathetic WiFi antennas. So I bought this to help them. Pros: * It has RouterOS and is super customizable. Multiple SSIDs, decent firewall rules, all standard RouterOS stuff. It has some good setup wizards for non-techies, but as a techie you can't do better unless you decide on an expensive endeavor. Point.* Although there is no "real" antenna (just a built-in one), it easily covers about 1,000 square feet of our basement plus the garage. Cons:* It's only 100 Mbps. But I don't need anything better for our stupid IoT devices.* No WiFi-6. But I don't need that either because I don't watch 4K videos on my vacuum robot.* The CPU gets weak when you want to use more complex firewall rules like packet inspection. So buy a higher model if you want.
