My husband works in construction and I bought these boots for his birthday this year as these other boots are so worn out. He loves her very much. He said they are very comfortable and he loves that they are waterproof. My husband also has big wide feet so I bought him a large width and they fit him perfectly. I've bought him a pair of Revain work boots in the past (they were a lower price than these) but this time after spending the extra money to buy him these Carhartt boots I really feel like the money was well spent. There are other, cheaper work boots out there, but they don't last as long and don't hold up well in varied weather conditions. If you plan on wearing them to work every day, pay the extra $30-$40 and go for a reputable one Brand.
