Unable to read DVD on MacBook Pro with macOS High Sierra - Version 10.13.6
When plugged in, the device disabled my connection to other external drives. I support connecting with 2 Lexar thumbs and a Western Digital 2TB external SSD for code repositories. When I connected the JOTEC drive via the included USB-C connector, all other external drives were immediately disconnected. The JOTEC drive did not read the DVD (tested and readable on previous MacBooks with internal DVD). It also took three reboots of the MacBook Pro to get it back to its previous state of reading other external drives. Looks like the drivers have to work harder. This is the weight of the paper.
