Calls every time it sees movement. I've been using the batteries in the motion sensor for almost a month now. I have yet to replace them. I hooked things up to USB 5v 1a with a micro USB cable. I've never had false alarms, but he missed a few in the first week. I adjusted it, and no misses since!
