Review on πŸ’‘ Littelfuse 0ATO030 VPGLO SmartGlow Volt Fuse: Enhanced Safety and Efficiency in Circuit Protection by Trevor Blazis

Can be seen in the dark (very important in Alaska)

My old car has a small leak. I would have had to spend about $500 to fix it and replace the windshield. My car is 1995, it costs about $500. So I don't want to spend money on it. Usually this leak doesn't matter, but in winter the heater fan motor freezes. Not knowing when that will happen, I casually use autostart on any machine that still freezes after 15 minutes. Or do I have to start it manually because I'm afraid the fan has frozen. Sometimes a fuse blows. I need to pull and replace even if I don't know it. (This happens after a heater is installed in the car and the fan has been on for a while.) These fuses will blow when they blow. As it's dark here until 4am in the middle of the day it's a HUGE time saver to know if the fuse is good, especially when it's -20Β° outside and I'm cold just opening the door and putting the heater in on. I don't want to take my gloves off to change the fuse (hanging upside down in the car seat with a flashlight) unless it's necessary. I would still like it just for convenience. But if you have an old machine with any fuse issues (which you know I don't recommend you do otherwise, fuses blow for some reason) they're worth getting.
