Comparing Hillbilly shorts to two other brand shorts

This is a comparison report as I bought 3 different lined shorts (the 3 I was able to get on Prime) to see which ones suit me best favor. TL; DR: Hillbilly was too bulky and expensive. The Docooler shorts won. Full Review: I have a 34" waist and was looking for something for skiing in the parks. That said, my priority was the padding of the buttocks, tailbone and thighs. The thigh padding didn't bother me. Here are three different shorts: Hillbilly Impact Shorts, Small, $65.22. Pros: very thick pads and maximum coverage. and restrict mobility The tie belt seems too bulky to wear under other layers. I followed the reviews and got a small one. Too tight, especially at the hips. I should have taken a medium size. Lined Docooler (this product): Size XXXL; costs $14.98 http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NITSOBW?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00 Overall: Best choice Pros: Perfect coverage of hips and buttocks. Good mobility. The fabric is comfortable and elastic; super cheap Cons: Pads can be a bit flimsy for really hard hits; Velcro may not hold. Fits: I have a 34 inch waist and after reading the reviews I got XXXL. It fits perfectly. Shock Doctor ShockSkin Impact Shorts; big size; $49.37 http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C4OKYH4?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01 Pros: Best looking shorts yet (bright orange and gray design); cozy; The fabric appears to be of better quality than others. a brand without ridiculous sizing. The large size fit me perfectly. All three had custom features that I liked, like the extra-thick HillBilly padding or the attractive Shock Doctor design. hard plastic on the coccyx pad). But if you're looking for a good pad cover and a good price, Docooler wins. Just make sure you choose the right size. I doubt the XXXL will even fit a 36" waist as the velcro can come loose.
