I wish I had bought this a long time ago! I have 3 five gallon gas bottles and each has its own spout. The oldest of these is the handy spout, but the other two had very unusual venting and safety mechanisms that required almost 3 hands to operate and the fuel always flowed out slowly. Why? These new replacement nozzles fit easily into old containers without leaking. I was even able to use the original cap on one of them. I just swapped the spout. I also love how easy it is to use spout caps. You no longer have to build it in the right order. I look forward to no more problems filling up my lawnmower and emptying it quickly. Good product!
