bought 4 pieces. 1 small and 3 large and spread them all over the bike. 2 on a bar and 2 connected to my handlebars and basket. I love having lots of storage space on the bike lol. I also bought the ones with two pockets on the sides that go with the pole. And I put one of them on top. A bag with two side pockets from the same company. Then you can put this right on top and it will fit just fine. It looks waterproof but I don't ride in the rain. I also cut holes in the sides (the material is very tough and I used a serrated Cutco knife) and put them through the cotton cord lock to deter theft when I lock my bike. Def won't be waterproof now but I prefer not to be stolen because I live in New York. I love these products. Great purchase and they were exactly what I was looking for.
