Works very well. I have used many types of these anti-rattle devices. I prefer this one the most. Easier to install than other types of spring and push pin locks. Well done, simple smart design that works. Have a 3/4 inch hex wrench ready. Update 6/2018: Worked well when the pen weight was less than 200#. Practically didn't fit when used on a medium sized road trailer. Retractable cargo box and bike rack. It worked fine for me with trailers with a 2000# GVW. Not strong enough at 5400# gross weight. I'll smooth out the crease and re-angle the panel.
