You get what you pay for and I don't mean it's necessarily a bad thing. For less than $40, these skates are great for teaching a kid. The positive thing is that the size can be easily adjusted. Well if your kid already knows how to skate and has been skating for a while I would recommend spending the extra money and getting better skates as the wheels are quite stiff and the bearings are not as smooth as someone with experience would like . If your child is just starting out, look no further and get these.
