Review on 💦 Turbo Pump Automatic Liquid Transfer Pump (TUPU-MC6) by Ontel by Ronnie Dunn

Last October I bought four 5 gallon gas storage tanks for my power generator (NorCal blackouts. Remember?). Now 8 months later I want to put gas in my cars and it took two people to do it the traditional way: one holding a funnel and the other a gas tank tipping it for endless minutes! I bought this pump and tried it today. The first thing that happened was the plastic clip broke as soon as I tried to use it. It turns out that my Ford Escape's tank opening is too wide for the clip. They could probably improve the design by using a simple metal clip. never mind The second thing that happened was that the pump itself didn't go through the tank opening. The reason is that there is a plastic filter in the trash can. I decided to take it off (see my photos). I ended up using a large flathead screwdriver, moving around and lifting it up a bit so as not to damage the filter. The pump barely fit in and I had to push it around a bit. Once inside I turned on the pump and it worked like clockwork. It took about two minutes to transfer 5 gallons. No lifting heavy boxes. Very convenient!
