Our other remote has been dropped a few times over the years and while it still worked I thought it would be good to replace until it's fully functional stopped working. It's an exact replacement for the Viper remote we have, I've had no trouble connecting myself to the current system. If you're new to technology, this can be a bit tricky, but doable with guidance. I love the remote start idea and use it almost every day especially when it's cold. I like the response that tells me my car is started and the picture that I have to look at lets me know if the car is locked or unlocked.
