I have a beautiful Husky and as much as I love him, he loves to go for walks and see the world. I had a little trouble keeping it in the fenced yard so it stayed indoors during the day while I was at work. I felt terrible and started looking for ways he could stay out during the day without worrying about him coming out. Of all the options, this one was great. This gives him enough freedom to roam and stretch his legs for some fresh air, and solid enough that I don't have to worry about him not staying in the garden. I wish it was a little longer so it had more room but I'll just have to order a longer one in the future. In addition to peace of mind, I can repeat the "come to me" command when he's gone and lead him to me when he's not listening. I would suggest if you are looking to buy one to allow your dog to "roam free" you wait until they are past the puppy chew stage as I imagine this leash will not last long with a chew device. . However, if you have an older dog or want one for training then this is definitely a great buy.
