I bought this card to replace exactly the same model - the contact of the DB9 connector is broken (they are thin on the 2nd port). The new card is not compatible with any driver (I downloaded the latest drivers after the CD failed). This usually means that the PCI configuration space on the card is corrupted, making it impossible to map the card to the driver's INF file (vendor ID or device ID). I spent 2 hours chatting with tech support - helpful and easy to communicate with, but after 2 hours I still had a faulty card. I was able to steal part of the new card (DB9 cable) and use it to fix the old card so I have 2 working serial ports (effectively $26 for a $2 cable). The return costs in addition to the 2 hours already spent are too high to proceed. I would say that this product has quality issues (cheap DB9) and not very good quality control (poor PCI configuration). I used to use the SIIG serial number. Cards no problem - I think I'd buy one of those instead of this one, for a few bucks more if I had to do it again.
