I was able to register this as key fob #3 for my 2007 Cadillac STS-V. My year uses an old style round key fob and was worried it wouldn't work. I followed the programming guide and luckily it worked. He locks/unlocks the door and pushes the truck out. As it is registered as #3, the remote start function will not work as only keyfobs #1 and #2 can activate it. My understanding is that I need to go to the dealer to replace the new key fob with 1 or 2. Also, driver settings cannot be saved in key fob #3 and #4. No. 1 with a car. It will probably end up being set to #1. I was also able to get the inner key blank from a new key fob cut at Home Depot with no problems. This keychain had a battery.
