This privacy screen definitely lives up to its promise! I looked at a few options before buying these, but most of the ones I found had either 2 small sticky layers of adhesive (don't know the correct term, sorry) and I didn't want to spend that much time setting up or traces left on my screen. A lot of them didn't have great reviews, there were a lot of complaints that people got the wrong model. Personally, I get annoyed when I have to return things (mostly because I forget, lol) so I chose quality over quantity with this solution. I like the magnetic function which is useful when you want to install/uninstall easily and leave nothing on the screen. True, you may not be able to fully (albeit very close) close the laptop with the screen on, but I personally have not found such a feature on similar products. Honestly, it would be cool if it could close, but the plastic travel case that comes with it is thin enough that I don't feel like I'm carrying any extra weight with my Mac.
