Bought three of these three years ago, one moisture sensor has failed, the other two are still working properly2. After seeing my initial review, Rep said Extech sent me a replacement for the defective item. I'm amazed as I've had them for a while and it's normal (in my experience) for humidity sensors to fail over time. I'll sing her praises now that I have three fully functional (and still accurate to within 1 degree/percent) humidity and temperature sensors. Pencils. Fits perfectly in your pocket and is much safer than similar products.
