Review on 🚘 Wagner SevereDuty SX702A: Optimal Performance Semi-Metallic Disc Brake Pad Set by Nick Narvasa

I was under the impression that Wagner pads are a good brand of pads

I have these actually bought pads 3 1/2 years ago. I had never used Wagner before but decided to give it a try. I have the impression that this is a good brand of pads. I don't drive my pickup very hard - I tow it from time to time and about 7500 to 8500 miles a year. They're worn about 1/2 the way, so I'm not writing a review on them. This is normal wear and tear. I recently removed the axle shafts and wheel hubs to replace the parking brake pads. When I removed one side of the working brake pads, one of the pad friction materials came loose from the metal part! It just fell off before I could get the pad out of the caliper. Which binding materials does Wagner use. for heavy pads? So now I'm going to try the Raybestos kit. If it happened once, it can happen again. Now it's time to take a look at the front pads, which I made at the same time. I think I'll order a new set of Raybestos before I remove the rotors. EDIT: I've attached a photo of the pads that fell apart. You can see that whatever binder was used just didn't hold up. The other ledge, viewed from the edge, has been added so you can see the remaining thickness in the ledges. They were just embarrassed where the razor begins on each end of the pad. They had just over 27,000 miles on the odometer.
